There was a time when moving season meant Memorial Day through Labor Day.
That calendar doesn’t mean much anymore.
People change jobs in October. Houses close in November. Leases end in January. Families move when the timing is right—not when the weather says they should.
That’s why fall has become a very active moving season.
For many people, it’s actually a better time to move. The temperatures are cooler, the summer rush has passed, and the move can often feel a lot less hectic.
At Glass City Movers, we see it every year.
The trucks don’t suddenly stop rolling because summer is over.
Whether you’re moving across Toledo, into Perrysburg, out to Sylvania, downsizing in Maumee or heading somewhere completely new, moving has become a year-round business.
And fall is still one of the busiest times to get it done.
