Tomah High School has once again been recognized for excellence in Advanced Placement programming!
The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) and the Wisconsin Advanced Placement Advisory Council named Tomah High School a 2025 AP Pacesetter Award recipient, earning Level 3 recognition for outstanding student participation and achievement in Advanced Placement coursework.
Schools earning this distinction have at least 10% of students participating in AP exams, with 60% or more earning a score of 3 or higher.
AP Pacesetter Awards are unique to Wisconsin and celebrate schools that foster a strong culture of academic excellence and rigorous learning opportunities.

This year's results highlight the continued growth and success of Tomah's AP program:

💛124 students participated in AP testing in 2025
🤍247 AP exams were administered across 23 different subject areas
🖤88 students earned scores of 3 or higher, representing nearly 71% of all AP students
💛Tomah High School currently offers 14 teacher-led AP courses
🤍Students also have the opportunity to take AP exams in subjects not currently offered as a course, expanding access to college-level opportunities

The district is especially proud that more students than ever are challenging themselves through rigorous coursework. Over the past five years, AP participation at Tomah High School has DOUBLED, growing from 62 students in 2021 to 124 students in 2025. 🎉

This achievement would not be possible without the dedication of our exceptional teachers and staff, including AP Advisor Cathy Brookman, who continually inspire, support, and prepare students for success in challenging college-level coursework. Their commitment to creating a culture of high expectations and student achievement is evident every day in our classrooms.

Congratulations to our students, families, teachers, and staff on this outstanding accomplishment. We are proud of everyone who played a role in making this recognition possible and grateful for the continued commitment to academic excellence at Tomah High School.

🎄 2025 CPKC Holiday Train Information 🚂✨

The CPKC Holiday Train will be arriving in the City of Tomah on Thursday, December 11th, at approximately 5:25 PM!

Please note:
🔹 The show and concert will only be viewable from the SOUTH SIDE of the train (white-outlined area).
🔸 Viewing or standing on the north side of the train or track area is not permitted (yellow hash-marked area).
🚧 Traffic will be detoured north of the tracks at Arthur St. Once the train arrives, the Superior Ave crossing will be closed to foot traffic. The next open crossings are Glendale Ave/Noth Ave.

🥫Neighbor for Neighbor Food Pantry will have a large truck parked across from Kelsey’s Class Act to collect your food donations.

☕ First United Methodist Church will have a booth selling hot chocolate—all donations will go to the Neighbor for Neighbor Food Pantry.
🎅 Santa will also be making an appearance at their booth!
