If you're a homeowner, you know how many things there are to do.
For those of you who are new homeowners, let me tell you that the moment you say: “We're moving in”, your house becomes a totally different beast. It's not just another house where you eat and sleep or hangout with your friends — now it's your home.
As a homeowner, there are certain things that have
to get done in order to keep your home in tip-top shape. And while some of those things may be a bit of a hassle, they're all worth it in the end. Here's our June Homeownership Checklist:
1. Make sure your gutters are clean and clear of debris.
2. Check your air filters and change them if necessary.
3. Check your water heater temperature setting (should be no higher than 120 degrees)
4. Clean out the dust bunnies from behind the fridge and microwave, because who needs that kind of creepiness in their kitchen?
5. Take care of any other minor repairs around the house that need to be done—like replacing cracked tiles or fixing sticky door handles—so you don't have to worry about them when they become bigger problems later on down the line!
