Yes, I did record a video at the exact moment I realized I was getting pulled over by the KHP.
Before anyone jumps to the idea that I was messing with my phone, I want to share this…
Years ago, I set up a simple Apple shortcut on my phone. All I have to say out loud is,
“Hey Siri, I’m getting pulled over.”
The phone immediately starts recording from the front facing camera. When the recording ends, it automatically uploads it to icloud.
I learned about this a long time ago, thought it was pretty cool, and decided to set it up. I have honestly never used it in a real moment like this before.
But when I was getting pulled over, I triggered it quickly and captured the moment as it unfolded.
Just a real reaction, in real time. 😄
I’m going to share that video on the subscriber side.
Not because I’m trying to keep anything secret, and not because I don’t value everyone here. I truly do.
I just want to be a little more intentional about where certain content lives. Many of you have messaged me asking if I recorded it, what it looked like, and how the stop went, so this felt like the right place to share it.
For those who may not know, the small amount from subscriptions often goes right back into the community. Helping someone out, covering a coffee, or supporting a local effort. That has always been the heart behind it.
No pressure at all. I’m thankful for every single person here, subscriber or not.
Just wanted to explain the how and the why before the video goes up.
