Large Apartment Management group is looking to add experienced Maintenance Technicians to our team for multiple properties in the Topeka, Kansas area. We are looking for self starters, who have great attention to detail and enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
As a Maintenance Technician, some of your responsibilities would include:
Completing Service Requests for Maintenance Issues within Occupied Units, with a goal of completing a minimum of 8 service requests a day.
Perform tasks to make units ready for the next resident within set-forth time frames.
Walk Apartments after move outs and prepare and place orders for materials to get the unit ready for the next resident.
Perform preventative maintenance on apartments and equipment at specified time periods, servicing equipment such as HVAC systems and smoke detectors.
Keep property grounds and common areas in well maintained condition, free of trash and debris.
Work closely with Property Management and Leasing Agent Staff Members to ensure all Maintenance Needs are addressed in a timely manner.
Participate in the on call Maintenance program for all locations on a rotational schedule.
Requirements for this Position:
Company prefers that you have experience in an Apartment or Building Maintenance role, or similar trade role such as Carpenter, Hotel or Community Maintenance, Residential Remodeling, or General Contracting.
Company prefers a basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and locking systems.
Must Have a Valid Drivers License and Reliable Transportation
Must have a Reliable Method of Contact
Must have your own tools to complete work assignments
Must be able to work after hours and weekend on call schedule on a rotational basis
Pay Range: $20-25 hourly
