Meet Christine Caplinger, one of Topeka’s 20 Under 40 honorees!

Christine is an attorney and entrepreneur who serves as CEO and owner of Verity Title and as owner and attorney of Caplinger Law. She built both businesses around the principles of integrity, trust and service, with a focus on creating opportunities for others while providing high-quality legal and title services to the community.

⚖️ Using her skills to serve:
Christine dedicates nearly 200 hours each year to pro bono legal services and business guidance, helping individuals in Shawnee County who may not otherwise be able to afford that assistance. She believes access to justice shouldn’t depend on someone’s financial circumstances and uses her professional expertise to advocate for others.

❤️ Giving back:
Christine also serves as Vice Chair of the SENT Board, supporting its work around housing and community development. One project she is especially proud of involved bringing community partners together to preserve childcare services in the Hi-Crest neighborhood. Her work helped create a solution that kept the facility open—and it has since increased its capacity from30 children to more than 60.

🌟 What leadership means to Christine:
Christine believes leadership is measured by how people are treated, especially when no one is watching. For her, success isn’t simply about building a business—it’s about building trust, creating opportunities and leaving the community stronger than she found it.

Inspired by her late father, Jim Caplinger, Christine continues to carry forward the values he modeled: work hard, serve generously, lead with humility and leave your community better than you found it.
