Just returned from an amazing trip to Japan following the footsteps of Cornelius Vanderbilt Crane, whose wife was Mine Crane who came from Japan. Here we are in Hiroshima at the Peace Memorial Park near Mine's ancestral home of Kure which we also visited including the many Zen Buddhist temples of Kyoto, Kamekura, Mishima as well. Ground Zero is behind the trees of bombed out industrial complex with remnants of a building that once was filled with workers.
