When I was 11 years old, I started my first job passing out flyers. I made only $30 a day and had to ride my bike everywhere.
I didn’t have a car or even a steady home. Some days, I went from one Meals on Wheels stop to another just to eat.
It wasn’t easy growing up that way. I had to figure out how to survive on my own, even when life felt unfair.
There were days I was tired, hungry, and unsure what would happen next. But deep down, I knew one thing, I couldn’t give up.
One day, I decided to stop waiting for something better and start building it myself. I talked to the people at Meals on Wheels, asked for a chance, and they gave me my first real job.
That small opportunity gave me something I had never had before stability and hope.
From that moment, I learned that no matter how hard things get, there’s always a way forward if you take action and get the right help.
That lesson has guided me through life and now into real estate. Today, I help others who feel stuck or scared just like I once did, especially homeowners who think it’s too late to fix their situation.
