Arnold Ng, Principal & Broker of Apex Commercial Real Estate, was honored to speak at this week’s Kiwanis Club of Torrance about the positive impact Key Club has had on his life.

While attending Dorsey High School in Los Angeles, Ng joined Key Club, eventually becoming president. Through this experience, he learned to be a leader and the value of being of service to others.

Ng also shared real estate briefings, covering industrial, office, retail, and multi-family properties.

The is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world. It's motto is “Serving the Children of the World”. The organization has been active in Torrance since 1988. This chapter was the first to open membership to women.

I was at this business park this weekend and noted that many small business entrepreneurs were working, their roll up doors open and a few cars were in the parking lot. Fortunate to have a location in Torrance that is recognized as a secure area for working late nights and in close proximity to residential for short commutes. This allows business owners to work long hours and still have a quality work-life balance. These industrial units are very popular with very little vacancy. Tenants pay for own electricity, trash, security systems. The landlord takes care of the rest.

A: Measure ULA is a special tax imposed by City of Los Angeles for affordable housing and those at risk of homelessness. Five cities are Culver City, LA, Pomona, RB and Santa Monica.
