Last weekend, at my husband’s suggestion, we joined some friends for "Keep Gardena Beautiful Day" 🌿

Keep Gardena Beautiful Day is a community cleanup event held by the City of Gardena every September, bringing local residents and City staff together to help keep the community clean and beautiful.

This year, we volunteered at the Community Garden next to Peary Middle School. 🧹🌱

We started at 8 AM and spent about three hours pulling weeds, cleaning up, and working together to give the garden a little TLC.

And after all that hard work, the City treated us to a Hawaiian BBQ lunch! 🍖🌺
There was even a raffle, and somehow I ended up winning a $20 Amazon gift card!😂🎉

For our family, "giving back to the community” is something we truly value.

Honestly, with our busy schedules, finding time to volunteer isn’t always easy. But experiences like this remind us how important it is to make time when we can and give back to the communities we’re part of.

And what made me especially proud was seeing our kids work hard for the entire three hours without slacking off once! 🥹❤️

Seeing them contribute alongside us and help take care of our community was such a proud mom moment.

Getting to know the community we live in, connecting with the people around us, and giving back in small ways.

As I continue to build my real estate business and become more connected to the South Bay community, I want to make time for experiences like this whenever I can. 🌿

❤️ RED DAY 2026 ❤️

This year, I had the chance to participate in RED Day again with my office at Keller Williams ✨
And this time, my husband joined me too 😊

We were assigned to the bubble station 🫧
My husband and I spent the day endlessly blowing bubbles together…
Honestly, we may have been having more fun than the guests 😂

It was so nice reconnecting with guests I met last year, and finally meeting some people in person that I had only connected with through Instagram 💛

RED Day is a special day when Keller Williams offices across the country come together to give back to their local communities.

Every year, our office hosts a fun event at Wilson Park in Torrance for individuals with disabilities and their families ✨

So many agents volunteered their time to help out — playing games, making crafts, dancing, and simply spending meaningful time together 🎨🕺

Even the busiest top agents made time in their schedules to come volunteer, and it reminded me once again how proud I am to be part of a company with such a strong culture of giving back ❤️

Seeing the smiles on everyone’s faces truly warmed my heart.

What made this story even more special is that they got engaged just a few days after we met 💍💛—their happiness truly lit up every step of the process.

Recently, Gardena Mayor Tasha Cerda joined our office meeting as a guest speaker✨

She is currently in her 9th year in office, and she has an impressive background:

✅ First African American Mayor of Gardena
✅ First Native American Mayor in the State of California

A truly remarkable and unique leadership journey👏

During her talk, she also shared updates on the luxury condominiums currently under construction in Gardena, which reflects the city’s continued growth and future development 🏙️

She also shared encouraging city data:
From 2020 to 2025, Gardena has successfully reduced the number of homeless people by approximately 70%.

Some of the key measures include:

* Citywide ban on RV street parking
* Strengthening support systems and outreach services for the homeless community

It was very meaningful to hear directly about the city’s progress and initiatives, and to better understand the ongoing changes in our local community 😊

【Torrance Kid-Friendly Spot 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦】

The other day, I went on the mini train ride at Wilson Park with friends for the first time in a while! 🚂

This train is actually operated by a volunteer group called Southern California Live Steamers ✨

📅 Schedule:
• 1st Sunday of every month: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 3rd Saturday of every month: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM

The ride is donation-based, with a suggested $1 per person 💡
You can pay with cash or Venmo.

This time of year is especially beautiful, with lush greenery and perfect weather 🌿
It felt so refreshing to just sit back and enjoy the slow ride through the park 😊

They also host special events during Halloween and Christmas, where the tracks are decorated and you can even ride at night 🎃🎄
These events require a separate fee, but they’re very popular and definitely worth checking out!

Also, there’s a farmers market at the same park on Saturdays, so if you go on the 3rd Saturday, I recommend visiting the farmers market → train ride combo 🌟
After the ride, you can head to the playground or take a relaxing walk around the park 🎵

It’s perfect for a casual weekend outing or quality family time ❤️
Definitely worth a visit!

[San Pedro Local Spot 🇫🇷]

I recently checked out the French restaurant
Compagnon W**e Bistro in San Pedro ✨

I had been hearing from multiple friends how good it was, so I had to try it for myself.

Since we went early on a weekday for dinner,
the restaurant was quiet and we were able to enjoy a very relaxed atmosphere 🍷

Everything we ordered was amazing,
but the winner for me was definitely the duck leg 💕✨

It was also my kids’ first time at a French restaurant.
They even tried escargot—and surprisingly loved it 👏

That said, to be completely honest…
this may not be the most kid-friendly spot.

There’s no kids menu, and the overall vibe is more geared toward adults enjoying a slow, quiet dining experience.

Next time, I’d definitely come back for a date night 🍽️✨
