How Concessions Can Help Get Your House Sold.

Sometimes the best teacher in the world is water.

Water doesn’t argue with the rock in its path.
It doesn’t waste time complaining about the mountain in front of it.

It adapts.

When water meets an obstacle, it does three simple things:
• It flows around it
• It flows under it
• Or it waits long enough to wear it down

Either way… it keeps moving.

That’s a lesson worth remembering in life and business.

We all hit obstacles.
Deals fall apart.
Plans change.
People say no.
Markets shift.

The people who win are not the ones who never hit obstacles.
They’re the ones who keep moving anyway.

They adjust the path.
They find another route.
They stay steady when things get hard.

Water always finds its way to the ocean.
Always.

And if you stay steady and keep moving, you will reach your destination too.

Not by force.
Not by fighting every rock in the river.

But by learning how to flow.

There are seasons where everything feels heavier than it should.

The decisions.
The expectations.
The quiet pressure no one else sees.

And if you’ve lived long enough… you know not every hard season means you’re doing something wrong. Sometimes it means you’re being refined.

So this morning I prayed.

Not for easier.
Not for applause.
Not for everything to magically fall into place.

I prayed for wisdom.

Wisdom to respond instead of react.
Wisdom to know when to speak — and when to stay still.
Wisdom to recognize what is mine to carry… and what isn’t.

I prayed for discernment.
Because not every opportunity is assignment.
And not every open door is meant to be walked through.

I prayed for strength that doesn’t quit when things feel slow.
For peace that doesn’t shake when outcomes are uncertain.

And I thanked God for the responsibility.

Because growth requires weight.
And pressure produces depth — if you let it.

If you’re in a stretching season right now, don’t panic.

Refine before you react.
Pray before you pivot.
Strengthen before you scale.

Hard seasons don’t break strong people.
They build them.

Stay steady.
You’re becoming something stronger than you were yesterday.

Let me say this straight.

God did not give you vision, grit, ideas, and influence so you could treat your business like a hustle.

He gave it to you as an assignment.

Some of you are praying for impact…
While grinding nonstop with no direction.

Praying for overflow…
While chasing everything that moves.

Praying for influence…
While exhausting yourself trying to prove something.

That’s hustle behavior.

Hustle runs on adrenaline.
Ministry runs on calling.

Hustle says, “Do more.”
Ministry says, “Do what I assigned you to do — and do it well.”

Your business is not random.
The clients.
The conversations.
The contracts.
The hard lessons.
The doors that closed.
The ones that opened.

None of it is accidental.

If God trusted you with it, it’s because He expects you to steward it.

Ministry isn’t just a pulpit.
It’s integrity in negotiations.
It’s excellence when no one is watching.
It’s telling the truth when it would be easier to stay quiet.
It’s serving people at a level that makes them feel protected.

It’s leadership.
It’s discipline.
It’s focus.

And hear me clearly — burnout is not a badge of honor.

If you’re constantly scattered, chasing, striving, comparing…
You’re not protecting the assignment.
You’re reacting.

You want impact?
Slow down enough to hear direction.

You want influence?
Build systems.
Sharpen your skills.
Show up consistently.
Work with intention, not desperation.

Because here’s the truth:
The size of your obedience determines the size of your reach.

Your business was never meant to be a hustle.

It’s a platform.
It’s a responsibility.
It’s a ministry.

Lead it like one.
