I’m grateful to be among one of the honorees recognized. When I decided to embark upon a career in real estate; home ownership, assets, leverage, legacy, economic empowerment for myself, family, friends & clients were just a few of my goals. However, the continuous support has allowed me to do more, more than just survive and feed my family. These resources have made it possible for me to create another narrative, one that consists of multiple streams of businesses and resources. With a sense of economic awareness and independence, I learned to utilize resources to create more opportunities. So, it’s about gratitude to those who have poured into, support and provided me with the means to accomplish goals not only on a local and national level, but on an international level as well. I have been able to provide the exposure to empower, enlighten and create more opportunities in a different capacity. So, I’m elated that God has blessed me with the ability to transform a venture into a journey. As the saying goes, build it, and they will come. When you’re passionate about what you do, you don’t consider it work, and it becomes infectious. 😉

For anyone who knows me will attest this is a cause that is near and dear to my heart. Just to touch on that briefly, my mom is a two time cancer survivor 🥊and my dad was called home from the disease. In spite of that, when I add things up, I’m still 3-0 because the way I see it—God makes no mistakes, my dad lived a good and purposeful life. He was always there and poured into me. So, as the saying goes, it’s better to have loved and lost than to not have loved at all. Besides God just loaned him to me. He wasn’t mine to keep.
