Yes, mortgage rates have moved higher, and I know seeing those headlines can be discouraging. But a higher rate doesn’t automatically mean it’s a bad time to buy.

In today’s market, buyers may have something they didn’t have when competition was crazy — NEGOTIATING POWER! 💪🔑

What an AMAZING day! 🖤💛

Yesterday, I attended the Realty ONE Group Summit in Sacramento, along with hundreds of real estate professionals from throughout our region. An incredible full day of inspiring speakers, real estate education, coaching, networking, new ideas, and lots of positive energy! 🙌✨

After 8 years in real estate and heading into my 9th year, I still believe you should never stop learning and growing. Our industry is constantly changing, and continuing my education helps me stay informed and better prepared to serve my buyers and sellers. 🏡🔑

🏡💦 FINAL STAGE of our pool renovation! 💦🏡

After a lot of thought about whether we would eventually downsize from our 6-bedroom, 5-bath home once the twins leave the nest — especially now that all 4 of our kids are adults — we decided… we’re staying! ❤️🏡

We’ve been the original homeowners since 2002, and this home holds way too many memories. So instead of downsizing, we decided to put some love back into it and make the upgrades we’ve been wanting. 🥰

Our pool was originally built in 2007 — 19 years ago! 😳 It was definitely time for a refresh.

We chose Burkett’s Pool Plastering out of Ripon, CA for the renovation, and we’re so excited to see it all come together! 🙌💦 We went with a beautiful PebbleTec finish and added a new heat pump so I can warm up my pool AND control it right from an app on my phone. 📱🔥🏊‍♀️ Now that is my kind of upgrade! 😂

We’re officially in the FINAL STAGE, and I cannot wait to see it filled with water again! 💦☀️🌴

Here’s to staying in the home we love, making it even better, and enjoying many more years of family, memories and pool days right here. ❤️🏡🥂

Lombard Street in San Francisco, California is known as the crookedest street in the world and has become quite the tourist attraction. San Francisco has some of the steepest streets in the world and in the 1920s the residents of Lombard street came up with the idea of 8 sharp turns to make it more manageable. In those days of the Model T automobiles and horse drawn buggies it was quite difficult with the cliff like street.
