“I’m a builder, it’s what I’ve done my whole life, and my father before me, who always told us he was five years old when the school was being built, and that was one of the projects that got him interested in construction because his brother, who was 10 years older, used to take him over to watch it being built,” said Gorski, an award-winning engineer and president of Gorski Engineering.
“The stone masonry was the something we really wanted to convey. To build a building as solid as that today wouldn’t be economically possible. When you’re in this building with these 11-foot ceilings and all these big windows and natural light,” he added, “it’s pretty dramatic.”

Just 5 short miles from , the Red Buffalo Ranch is located on the edge of Evansburg State Park and strives to create a safe and enjoyable experience for horseback riders of all ages. Evansburg State Park sits on 3,500 acres of green space for public use. Evansburg has over 15 miles of horseback riding trails that the Ranch can utilize. The Red Buffalo Ranch offers hourly guided trail rides by reservation. Horseback riding lessons are available for riders of ages 5 and up and of any skill level.

After more than 10 years we are now compelled to seek a rate raise for our trail rides. We are so proud our beautiful 10’ x 15’ Valley Forge Flag Company flag to the memory of Frances R. Major of , who passed away on June 8, 2019 at the age of 98. Born in Trappe, Frances worked at Valley Forge Flag Company for 64 years, retiring at the age of 84. Frances made flags during several notable periods in American history: the bombing of Pearl Harbor in 1941, the adding of our newest states’ stars (No. 49 Alaska, and No. 50 Hawaii) in 1959, the 9/11 attack in 2001, and many other wars and conflicts in between. When retiring from the flag company, Frances was interviewed by Bob Schieffer of CBS Evening News and was recognized and honored by members of the US Congress. The flag that was flown over the United States Capitol building on July 4, 2005 was presented to Frances for her many years of flag making services. valleyforgeflag.com
