BIG CHANGES ARE HAPPENING DOWNTOWN 👀

If you’ve noticed the Sara Hardy Farmers Market isn’t where it normally is… there’s a pretty big reason.

The parking lot at Cass Street & Grandview Parkway ( where the market has traditionally set up), is getting a major makeover. 🚧

Traverse City is building a permanent pavilion for the Sara Hardy Downtown Farmers Market, giving one of our favorite downtown traditions a permanent home with covered space for more than 100 vendors.

The market has temporarily moved to Rotary Square while construction gets underway, and the new pavilion is expected to make market mornings a whole lot more weather-friendly. All while creating a space that can be used for more than just market days.

Honestly, we are pretty excited to see what this part of downtown looks like when it’s finished. It’s one of those changes that’s going to completely change how this area feels.

Traverse City is changing… and this is one of the projects worth watching. 👀
