There are countless reasons I love my work. The biggest is the relationships and friendships I’ve built.

Enter the most beautiful soul, living in Alaska, who travelled through a blizzard to Michigan last winter to see my special listing in Lake Leelanau. I knew immediately we would be friends. God winks at every turn. Her Aunt Linda looked at homes with us (I have an Aunt Linda), she lived in Flint and went to the same high school as my Dad…the list goes on and on.

Their home search took a shift to Petoskey, so I did too! Virtual video showings, FaceTime calls and one beautiful new home later; my Alaska friend and her amazing family will be making their way back to Northern Michigan.

Tonight I drove back to Petoskey with my faithful co-pilot to do the final walkthrough and pick up the keys. We then went to enjoy a delicious dinner at with a lovely gift certificate (thank you my friend).

Just a reminder that buying or selling a home is about so much more than drawing up the paper work and touring homes. It’s about connecting with an agent that truly cares about you, and will do what ever it takes to help you find your happy place. 💕

It’s closing day! 🎉🍾 🏠

This one means a lot to me for many reasons…

*Most importantly, this seller was a REFERRAL from another client. That client I represented as a buyer….and several years later a seller. She was also a referral from a friend….who I represented as a seller! This is a pattern that not only warms my heart, but reassures me that buying and selling for “my people” has been a positive experience. ☺️🎉

*STAGING works! For those of you that don’t know, this is a hot button for me! Will your house sell if it isn’t staged? Sure it will! Will it sell for as much as it could? I strongly believe that it won’t! ❌ This house is beautiful but needed a lot of help in the yard. 🫣 After weeding a half a trailer of weeds, spreading 20 bags of wood chips, rearranging a perennial bed and planting mums; this yard was beautiful! Another day of indoor staging and a virtual staging of the basement; and this home was 👌🏻

*TEAM WORK! Working together with an agent to advocate for both buyer and seller makes for smooth sailing ⛵️ Thank you to for your exceptional communication as the buyer’s agent and all of your efforts! 👏🏻

Closing day today! One of the things I love the most about these days is the chance to put together a present 🎁 for my clients. Living “in town” in Traverse City is the BEST! I speak from experience. 😁 To be able to ride your bike 🚲 or walk to all that TC has to offer is amazing. I’ve shown this house (listed by my friend Karly Wentzloff) and can’t understand how it hasn’t been scooped up yet!!! It’s beautiful!!!
