👀🏡 What's It Wednesday!

Did you know that appraisal requirements are items that may need to be addressed before a lender can finalize a buyer's loan?

When an appraiser identifies appraisal requirements, it does not mean the home failed the appraisal. It simply means certain conditions must be corrected before closing.

Appraisal requirements are typically related to the home's safety, security, and structural soundness. These requirements are most common with FHA, VA, and USDA loans, although they can occasionally occur with conventional loans as well.

Once the required items are completed, the appraiser will need to return to verify the repairs so the lender can move forward with the buyer's loan.

Understanding the appraisal process can help make buying or selling a home much less stressful!
