Snowfall could exceed 6 inches in some areas, with a wintry mix possible for Wayne County and surrounding communities. Hazardous road conditions and travel delays are likely.

Today's the day! Stop by the clubhouse to paint or create a lovely valentine craft for yourself or someone special. Complete a valentine cryptogram to be enetered into a raffle. We even have goodies to munch on as well.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, February 8th, where we will be painting works of art for valentine's and enjoying light refreshments at the South Glen Clubhouse.
We will also have a printed cryptogram for you to solve and redeem for an entry & raffle ticket to possibly win a really sweet prize where 2 winners will be drawn & announced on February 25th.

Attention Residents:

Starting Sunday night through Wednesday next week, our area will be experiencing extremely cold weather conditions. Wind chills are expected to drop below -10°F, with the coldest temperatures reaching -25°F.
Important Updates:
• Wind Chills: Below -10°F from Sunday night to Wednesday.
• Coldest Period: Sunday night to Wednesday, with apparent temperatures possibly falling to or below -20°F.
• Cold Weather Advisory: Likely as the event nears, with criteria for apparent temperatures at or below -15°F.

Please remember to:
• Follow the Pipe Freeze Prevention Protocol
• Limit time outdoors.
• Dress in layers and cover any exposed skin.
• Check on vulnerable neighbors and family members.
• Ensure pets are kept warm.

A huge thank you to all the residents who attended our hot cocoa party!! It was a blast playing games and sipping on homemade cocoa and treats.
We also loved all the snowflakes that were created and turned in for our upcoming raffle on 1/24/2025. If you haven't gotten yours in, there is still time.

South Glen Parents, The kiddos did not understand that the Rocks needed to stay where they were found so others could find them too and take pictures to turn in to us. Please arrange for them to return our decorated rocks for the Our Residents Rock Scavenger hunt so others can participate too! (And remember we have our appetizer night on Tuesday from 4pm -6pm if anyone wants to join us for appetizers and to paint rocks in the clubhouse .)

Save the Date:The week of Sept 18th will be the "Our Residents Rock!" scavenger hunt! Residents, you simply search for rocks around the property during the week of Sept 18, take pictures of them but leave them there for others to find. That week, we will have a spot for you to post the pictures on our FB page or you can email them to us. We have 3 gift cards to give away for this event! Our employees got created and painted the rocks shown below for "Our Residents Rock!" Scavenger Hunt!
