We are seeking a marketing and administrative assistant to join a busy real estate team. This role will provide support to Segal LaBate Commercial Real Estate as well as our affiliated coworking space, Base Camp Trenton.
The successful candidate is detail-oriented with a high level of initiative to anticipate the needs of the brokerage team and proactively improve business operations. This self-starter candidate will genuinely enjoy interacting daily with clients from a wide range of diverse backgrounds.
[THE ROLE]
This role is primarily a marketing position where the candidate will leverage email marketing tools, social media, the company website and one-on-one client interactions to assist the brokerage team in the sales and leasing of commercial real estate properties, as well as marketing the services of the coworking space.
You will be expected to use and learn graphic design tools to develop email campaigns and social media posts, as well as create flyers and other collateral materials. The candidate will also be expected to stay informed on both the details of all property listings as well as the services offered within the coworking space to accurately answer client inquiries.
In this role, the candidate will act as the sole admin to both the brokerage team and the coworking space. Responsibilities for the real estate team will include regular updates to several online listing databases, internal system updates and special research projects. Managing the coworking space will require you to onboard new members, oversee online reservations and manage invoices.
This is a client-facing position where you’ll be the first line of contact in person, over the phone and in email to assist clients with a variety of inquiries about real estate listings and the coworking space services. This role will provide you an opportunity to be exposed to a broad range of real estate transactions - both traditional leases and sales, as well as the more modern use of collaborative, shared spaces.
REQUIREMENTS
The candidate must be highly organized, demonstrate individual initiative, and be flexible to changing priorities;
Experience with or willingness to learn graphic design tools such as Canva and Pages;
Experienced in or willing to learn MacOS, with a strong aptitude to learn new programs (e.g., Filemaker, Constant Contact, CoStar, Crexi);
Strong written and verbal skills; command of proper grammar and spelling is a must.
PREFERENCES
Interest in real estate or experience as a marketing or administrative assistant in the real estate industry;
Experience with Social Media Marketing strongly preferred;
Creative or Copy Writing experience is a plus;
Knowledge of Mercer County communities is a plus.;
Experience with the following tools: Constant Contact, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office and Dropbox.
