🚨 BIG UPDATE: FINCEN RRE RULE ON HOLD 🚨

We’ve got some important (and exciting!) news to share with our real estate partners and clients 👇

The **FINCEN Residential Real Estate (RRE) Reporting Rule** — which was set to introduce new reporting requirements for certain real estate transactions — has officially been **put on hold / overturned (for now)**.

💡 **What this means right now:**
✔️ No immediate changes to your current closing process
✔️ No new federal reporting requirements taking effect at this time
✔️ Business continues as usual

At Gilchrist Title Services, we’ve been closely monitoring this rule and preparing behind the scenes to ensure a smooth transition if it took effect. While we were ready, we’re excited to share that things are staying simple for now!

⛳️ A great day on the golf course for the team at Gilchrist Title Services!

Our office got par-fectly scenic yesterday, sponsoring hole 11 at the Women's Council of Realtors Gainesville-Alachua 29th Annual Golf Tournament

We love any opportunity to get out in the community, spend time with our local realtors and lenders, and talk a little *title* between swings. Whether it's at the closing table or on the fairway, we're always here to help make your transactions smooth and successful.

Waffles the Elf is packing up his tiny bags and heading back to the North Pole to report to Santa after another *very* eventful season at **Gilchrist Title Services**.

Don’t worry though—he’s leaving the office in **excellent hands** with **Heather, Klara, Nancy, Nick, Tami, and Rachel** holding down the fort until he returns next year. 🙌🏽🏢

No fish yet, but he *did* catch some smiles, a paperclip or two, and maybe a missing pen 🖊️🐟

He says patience is key—and snacks help.
