Having a home inspection done is a critical part of the home buying process. Every transaction should include an inspection, regardless of size, age, or price of the home. That may sound biased coming from an inspector, but the reality is that it could potentially save you a lot of time, money, and unnecessary stress.

Here’s an image of the laundry room from an inspection of a new construction home. You may be thinking, “The house is brand new, why do I need an inspection?” If you look closely, you’ll notice something is missing. The excitement of a brand new home might wear off quickly when you go to install your new washer and dryer and realize there’s no dryer vent connection.
