Due to weather, the sandblasting of the downstairs patios has been postponed and will resume tomorrow Wednesday, the 15th).

As of today, 28 units has been completed and we have 4 more buildings to go. The sandblasting will be completed by Thursday evening.

Please do not return your items to your back patio until after the painters have done all three coats of painting. There will be a primer coat of a rust-resistant coating and 2 coats of paint on each patio ceiling.

Allred & Co., REALTORS would like to introduce our new HOA assistant, Valerie.
She is a recent transplant from upper New York state and is happy to be in the south! Valerie and her husband have a deep love for dogs and animal rescue! Her hobbies include quilting, sewing and baking as well as water color painting. She will be answering our phones and will be taking HOA payments at the front desk. We're grateful to have her as part of our team and know you'll love her too!

Outside/ end units are experiencing frozen water lines this morning. Please be sure to keep your faucets dripping, especially on plumbing in exterior walls.
Open the cabinets at your sinks to allow heat in. Take all precautions to avoid frozen plumbing.

HOA UPDATES:

The vinyl siding at the 800 building was started on last week. The crew will start replacing vinyl on the 900 building next Thursday, July 7th.

The pine needles have been installed. We've had a conversation with the landscaping crew regarding removing dead bushes and working towards getting some of the shrubbery replaced. We are working on a plan this summer to implement this fall.

The roofs of the mailbox kiosk are in bad condition and we're working on quotes from several vendors to get those replaced immediately.

We have confirmed with our vendor that the remaining vinyl siding will be completed on the backs of the 800, 900, 1000 and 1100 buildings beginning June 20th.

Once the vinyl siding has been completed they will replace the back balconies on the same buildings.

We are excited to get the bulk of the structural repairs completed at English Court!

We are also reviewing quotes to have the stairs and railings repainted this summer.

The water main has been fixed. Water is back on and flowing at English Court. You may experience muddy/brown water for a few hours until the water lines clear.

We are sorry for the muddy mess at the entrance and are working at cleaning up the sidewalks and parking lot.

2/1/2022 10AM UPDATE-

The water to English Court will be off for several more hours. The main water line to the 100 building has burst under ground. The line has to be replaced. We will keep you posted as were updated.

We do advise that you turn off the breaker to your water heaters to ensure you won't experience additional repairs or problems.

ENGLISH COURT WATER IS TEMPORARILY TURNED OFF AT ARCHDALE ROAD. City main busted, work crews are at the entrance of the community with parts of Archdale road blocked. Please do not call the police department emergency line or the water water company; Crews having been working on this since 6AM.

I will update here once the city has the water back on.

Recently, we've discovered that somone has turned off the exterior breakers to two of the buildings. Parents & guardians, PLEASE be sure that your children are not playing in the panel boxes.

We have ordered combo locks to keep the boxes from being tampered with.

Due to the increase in illegal dumping the dumpsters at English Court are now on 24/7 video surveillance.

Tag numbers will be turned in to the Archdale Police Department for unlawful dumping of furniture, mattresses and leaving garbage outside of the dumpsters.
