Housing supply will be impacted as more Americans age in place

This trend, driven by emotional ties and financial considerations, is tightening housing inventory across the U.S. While aging in place offers stability for seniors, it also limits the availability of homes for younger buyers, further challenging an already constrained housing market.

More homeowners just started pulling cash out of their properties. Here’s why.

Many homeowners are leveraging their home equity for cash as interest rates remain elevated and property values stay strong. Options like cash-out refinancing and HELOCs (Home Equity Lines of Credit) allow access to funds for renovations, debt consolidation, or major expenses. While these tools can be powerful, they come with risks like increased debt and long-term financial implications, so careful planning is essential.

How will first-time buyers fare if sellers can’t offer buyer agent compensation?

New changes in real estate, prompted by lawsuits and policy shifts, may alter how first-time homebuyers work with agents. Experts suggest this shift may lead to buyers negotiating directly with sellers' agents or hiring fee-based brokers, reshaping the traditional homebuying experience. What do you think about these changes? Let's discuss!
