Sometimes closing isn’t all excitement… sometimes it’s a lot of RELIEF!!!!
Michele & Anthony got their home SOLD!!!!
I do not have a seller sold sign, so we made it work with a Welcome Home sign and yes… I edited it. 😄
Sounds like I definitely need another craft night soon!!!
This one is a reminder not to count on anything until the day of closing.
Story time:
We received a great offer with conventional financing and agreeable terms, and everyone was thrilled!!!!
Inspection period came and went with just a couple of minor repairs negotiated.
Appraisal came in at value with no repairs needed.
Everything was moving along smoothly.
Then BAM. Completely unexpectedly, the lender received a copy of the inspection report. 😩
Thankfully, Michele and Anthony had maintained their home very well, so there were not a lot of issues. But the lender did ask for additional items and needed contractors to verify a couple of things.
Totally unexpected.
Totally stressful.
Definitely one of those reminders that you do not count on a file closing until it is actually closing.
But they pushed through, stayed patient, and TODAY WE CLOSED!!!!
