🐊 Crikey… welcome to Realtor in the Wild. 😂

First, I would like to formally apologize to the entire continent of Australia for whatever accent just happened here. 🇦🇺

But underneath the questionable accent and slightly exaggerated buyer-agent request is a very real part of real estate:

Managing expectations is a HUGE part of my job.

Buyers can ask for almost anything. Sellers can say no. Inspections can uncover 63 pages of “things.” Appraisals can surprise us. Financing can change. Emotions can run high. And sometimes an offer comes in that makes you stare silently at your phone for a solid 30 seconds.

The value of an experienced Realtor isn’t making sure none of those things happen.

It’s knowing what to do when they do.

My job is to help my clients understand what’s reasonable, what’s negotiable, what actually matters, when we should push, when we should compromise—and occasionally when we should just put the phone facedown and gather ourselves. 😂
