Our neighbors just keep getting better and better! 🎢🌊

We recently had the opportunity to go behind the scenes with the Santa Claus, Indiana for a sneak peek at the exciting new Cannonball water ride coming to Holiday World & Splashin' Safari. this ride is going to be amazing!

It got us thinking… Over the years, there have been A LOT of cannonballs off the diving board and floating tiki dock at Indiana Lakeside Cabin! 💦😂 While ours might not be quite as impressive as this new ride is going to be, we've certainly had our share of big splashes and unforgettable memories!

🌅 We've Been a Little Quiet… But Busy Behind the Scenes at Indiana Lakeside Cabin! 🌲🏡

If you've noticed we've been away from Facebook for a little while, there's a good reason!

September was dedicated to upgrades, maintenance, family time, and a little community involvement! We enjoyed hosting the September Spencer County Chamber of Commerce Morning Brew, spending some much-needed time with family, and tackling projects around the cabin to keep everything looking great for our guests.

Owning and maintaining a private lake cabin is definitely a labor of love. There's always something to fix, improve, or add to the to-do list! 🔨🛶

❤️ But our October guests have reminded us exactly why we do this!

The kind words, appreciation, and memories being made by families and friends make all the hard work worthwhile. There's nothing better than knowing our little piece of southern Indiana is a place where people can retreat, relax, reconnect, and make memories that last a lifetime.

We're grateful for everyone who has stayed with us, recommended us, or followed along on this adventure.

Every once in a while, a guest leaves a review that reminds us why Indiana Lakeside Cabin exists.

"I desperately needed a vacation, but I didn’t have the energy to plan anything. All I wanted to do was hide someplace away from the world. My kid wanted to go to Holiday world and I had the idea that may be Vrbo could set me up with something and I found this place.

I jumped in the lake. I sat and read for hours on the screen porch , I had conversations with my kids that I don’t know we would have managed to have at home and yes, I did go to Holiday world, but mostly I just sat and decompressed, and it was exactly what I needed."
