Happy National Surveyors week!

When most folks think of surveying, they picture someone on the side of the road with a tripod. But surveying is so much more than that—it’s where everything begins.

Before anything gets built in Texas—roads, homes, pipelines—a surveyor has already been there, making sure it’s done right. They bring clarity to our land, turning history, boundaries, and plans into something solid you can trust.

Surveyors are part problem-solver, part historian, and all grit. They work through heat, mud, and long days because they know the details matter—and in this line of work, inches count.

So during National Surveyors Week, we tip our hats to the folks who lay the groundwork for everything we build.

Because without surveyors, Texas wouldn’t stand quite so strong.
