Last week, KIRCO celebrated the completion and grand opening of Monark Grove Clarkston. The newly constructed community, operated by Beztak offers 148 Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care residences, and marks the latest best-in-class senior housing community in KIRCO's development, construction, and investment portfolio.

Residents have begun moving in, enjoying an abundance of natural light, high-end interior finishes, and Class A amenities including gourmet meals, fitness center, salon, and more. KIRCO is invested in the success of each of our senior living communities and is excited to welcome residents to a place they are proud to call home.

Despite numerous challenges, changes and roadblocks, KIRCO is pleased to share that the Mercedes-Benz Financial Services USA, another state-of-the-art construction project by KIRCO MANIX, has been successfully completed on time and on budget.

With the capacity to house more than 700 staff in a hybrid work model, this project is an excellent example of how KIRCO MANIX worked with our partners to construct a modern and innovative community-building workspace.

KIRCO & KIRCO MANIX recently completed the development & construction of WACKER's new Innovation Center & Regional Headquarters building in Ann Arbor, MI. This video by John Coates for Jason Keen + Co highlights all the features that make this project a standout.

With a two-story tiered collaboration space, 40,000 square feet of laboratories, and dozens of flexible workspaces, Wacker employees will now be able to collaborate and innovate in a single, dynamic environment.

KIRCO and Phoenix Senior Living today announced the completion and opening of Madison Crossings, an independent living and memory care community located in Madison, Ala., just 10 miles outside of downtown Huntsville.

Operated by Phoenix Senior Living, Madison Crossings offers 105 independent living apartments and 27 memory care residences and began welcoming residents in April. The active, resort-style community features many amenities, including: an outdoor pool; wellness center; industry-leading dining experience; pub; beauty salon and spa; yoga studio; outdoor pickleball and bocce ball courts; and more.

One of the highlights of our summer season is the annual Troy Traffic Jam car show, which was recently sponsored by KIRCO at Columbia Center! This year, we hosted over 250 cars and received over 5,000 attendees in support of the Troy Historic Village. Thank you to the organizing team and our Columbia Center staff - congratulations on another fantastic show!

We recently welcomed our broker partners to the fifth annual Broker Appreciation Cocktail Hour at M1 Concourse. We are grateful for the relationships that have been maintained and strengthened with our partners over the years and enjoy thanking them every year at this event!

Guests enjoyed food, drinks, and conversation in the event space, which featured our CIO Dean Kiriluk‘s Formula Continental race car. The evening capped with a shotgun ride-along experience, in which professional drivers steered participants at full speed around the M1 track.

KIRCO & KIRCO MANIX recently partnered with SAY Detroit to assist Mr. Burhan Chowdhury in cleaning up and beautifying his overgrown yard. Mr. Chowdhury was unable to maintain his yard because of his age and recent battle with cancer. You may have seen the viral footage of him being berated by a district court judge over the condition of his yard in a January court appearance.

16 of our Associates proudly volunteered to clear the backyard of debris, rake, mulch, plant, and more.

“Our Associates are always willing to jump in to help not only each other, but others in the community. They truly embody the spirit of our purpose, Creating Better Communities, and we are proud of their efforts,” says Therese Peace Agboh, vice president of Talent & Culture.

We're happy to share the news that our recently completed headquarters building for Mercedes-Benz Financial Services USA was honored last week by CoreNet Global Michigan Chapter as the Real Estate Project of the Year for 2022. Thank you to all who had a part in making this project a success!

And, congratulations to Project Manager Duane Allison for winning the 50/50 prize at the awards event - we can confirm that he brings this same level of enthusiasm to his daily work!
