While it can lower your monthly payment and make homeownership more attainable, it’s important to understand the tradeoffs.

Pros:
✅ Lower monthly payments
✅ Easier qualification
✅ Ability to afford a higher-priced home

Cons:
⚠️ Slower equity growth
⚠️ Higher total interest paid
⚠️ Longer financial commitment

A 50-year loan can help with short-term affordability, but may not be the best long-term strategy for building wealth.
