The ART of negotiation
How do you get the best price on your next home or investment? That’s a very complicated question requiring a very complex answer. First, how long has the property been on the market? Is the property priced to sell? Has your agent sent you comparable homes sold in the same neighborhood? What is your time frame for moving? Have there been any offers on the property? Has your realtor even called the listing agent to find out? Are you willing to purchase a home that needs a little TLC to save some money? How much inventory is available in the local market? And most importantly, how much do you love the property? Once you have answered these questions its now time to negotiate the best price. This is where experience, knowledge of the market, and even intuition come into play. A good agent is not just a realtor. A good agent is a professional negotiator.
