Tahoe has big new plans for the July 4th celebrations. Rather than firewords, there will be drone light shows at Kings Beach on the 3rd and at Tahoe City on the 4th. You can buy tickets to the KB show. Happy Fourth!!

Join us from 7-10pm at the Kings Beach State Recreation Area. The Beach Party is open to all ages; admission is FREE. Enjoy three delicious food vendors, and a beer/wine garden as well as a dazzling drone light show display at 9:30pm.

Hit the trail: Here are 3 easy-peasy trails to get your outdoors fix in Truckee without even booting up. Trout Creek, Martis Dam, and, my favorite, the Legacy Trail along the Truckee River. Enjoy!

Truckee has 22 miles of scenic paved paths that are plowed and remain snow-free during the winter, perfect for a beautiful walk or run.

Super News! The Truckee Town Council approved plans for the next phase ($9 million) of the Truckee River Legacy Trail. Upon completion, Phase 4 will create a trail from Glenshire to Donner Lake. Work is slated to run through 2024, and could entail wider shoulders for cyclists, pet waste stations, bike repair stations, interpretive signs, way finding signs, mile post markers, water fountains, and benches from a project by local students at Tahoe Truckee Unified School District. Woot!

Plans to move forward with construction of the next phase of the Truckee River Legacy Trail were unanimously approved by Town Council on Tuesday.

This is great! Hop out of your car, relax and take the bus to Squaw or Northstar. Let's get cars and pollution off our mountain roads!

Park and Ride Service Now begins on January 8th, 2022 Weekends and President’s Day January 8th -March 20th Park in Truckee or Tahoe City and enjoy service to Northstar California Resort or Olympic Valley. Avoid worrying about parking and leave the driving to us!
