I was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and raised in Cheshire, Connecticut. Connecticut has always been home to me and I look forward to helping you make it yours too. I am a Cheshire High School graduate and furthered my education at Hesser College in Manchester, New Hampshire. I was an interior design major, which uniquely qualifies me to comment on your home and getting it sold for the maximum
price. While attending college in New Hampshire, I worked for Macy’s and learned the valuable asset of sales and how to interact with the public. I started in the Men’s department and had the opportunity to work in just about every department in the store. I studied at Paier College of Art in Hamden, Connecticut, and The Art Institute of Pittsburg through online courses in interior design as well. When I moved back to Connecticut, I decided to continue working for Macy’s, this time in their Milford, Connecticut store. I worked in their Home Department and within a couple of years, I took on a promotion to work in their Wedding and Gift Registry Department. It was a pleasure and I took much pride in aiding couples to create their registries. I received countless positive feedback from customers and management. After two years in the Wedding and Gift Registry Department, I took on another promotion with Macy’s and moved to Lynchburg, Virginia. Here I was the Sales Supervisor for the Home and Juniors Departments. I enjoyed my staff, management, and the many customers who passed through our doors. My very first summer in the role I was the top sales manager for the district. By the fall, I received a call from a representative of Belk, a southern-based department store chain. At first, I was considered for a Visual Manager Position, but after interviewing I was offered a Sales Team Management position in Lexington, Kentucky. I oversaw the Men’s, Children’s, Home, Plus Sizes, and Shoe Departments. The following year, I was offered a position with Marshalls for an Assistant Store Manager of Merchandising. Since this was a better opportunity, I took the job. I had the opportunity to oversee every department in the store. I moved back to Connecticut after several years in the south and with the influence of friends, family, and some local REALTORS®, I decided to pursue a career in real estate. I chose to partner with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s Trumbull Office because I liked the managing broker, their office location, their technology platforms, and what they had to offer as a company. It is a pleasure to speak with all of the agents in the office and meet new people regularly. I look forward to the opportunity to meet with new sellers, buyers, landlords, and tenants, to fulfill their real estate aspirations. If you’re looking for an agent to represent and assist you with a real estate transaction, please contact me. With much gratitude,
Ross Michael Kleist - “¡ROSS the property BOSS!”
