I Q U I T

Quitting isn’t about cutting people out, exacting revenge or placing anger it’s about realigning your goals to manifest your best life. Yes, we may end up relating to people a whole lot differently but when habits align with goals, the sky really is the limit.

Now that I am committed to the work, I’d like to share a few things to QUIT:

- OVEREXTENDING yourself
- Saying YES to everything, automatically
- JUMPING IN (or offering input) when no one asked for help or feedback

We’ve touched on feeling overwhelmed + the need to dig deep to get back on track to our happiest selves. This isn’t an easy journey. Hearing where you fall short from those you love is a tough reflection to take in. But seeing what the mirror reflects, swallowing hard + buckling down to make change will save your entire world. I know because I’ve torched many a bridge (unnecessarily). And not a lil’ bit… I mean Angela Bassett in Waiting to Exhale burning 😭😭😭 Why?????

Because I simple was not mature enough to hear constructive feedback, sit with those feelings + make change. I was not committed to being better.

Overextending myself just to “be there” was not serving me because I was 👇🏽

- Clearly treating life events like a chore
- Unable to be present or spread joy because I was thinking about the next thing on the list
- Bringing all the stank (aka perpetuating toxic relationships) because I was thinking no one understood how hard things were for me (FREE TIP 👉🏽: it’s not their problem, sis)

None of these things serve us when we push to do them. There are no bonus points when we’re left burned out with a side of bitter. And, surprise, no one wants to party with (come home to or snuggle with) THAT person. Quitting ridiculous behavior along with recommitting to the bigger life goals can truly help with balance and this is what we want. 🧘‍♀️

We’ve prepped our wardrobe changes for the fall shift but that’s it all mean for the market?

Typically, I would tell clients that this is the time of year that most market activity starts to wind down.
But post C19 all bets are off.

If you’re in deep thought about getting into the market it’s one of the best times to consider making a move.

Buyers are still buying, loan rates are still relatively low + affordable housing continues to be in high demand.

So define your goals + get in the game to buy, sell, rent or invest.

Today was a hard day. Having to summarize a life so grand into a few short paragraphs is pretty much impossible.

It’s been a blessing to share time and space with you in this life. Nothing could be a complete testimony to all the laughs, stories and good times we’ve all shared as a family. That’s what memories are for, like the time we sat in the very chairs I sat in today and remembered the time you told me I should teach + that I’d be a good teacher. After all this time, I became one. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I guess Gramma’s can see into the future like that…

Gannies, no words can thank you for the time you took to care for Kaidan. To have one of his very first touches (and calls to 911 😬😩🤣) belong to you are moments we will forever cherish.

We already miss your smile, your laugh and your joy. May you wear as many beautiful crowns in heaven as you wore hats on Earth.

I know life can get hard + goals can seem so far from reality but dreaming is what keeps us A L I V E. I’m humbled to be a part of goals and planning processes for others’ lives - it’s !!!

The truth is it’s all ... , much like pimpin’, ain’t easy. Most of us deserve an Emmy 🏆 for making it through the day and staying sane. 😝

Cheers to us, two moms working overtime to give our boys a life of their dreams.
