Few things soothe and warm the spirit like celebrating special moments with close friends and family. Tonight, we celebrated the anchor of her family and the witty touchstone of fun and brightness in any gathering. A woman who amazes with her lively, effervescent take on life. Biagetti's in West Haven was abuzz with relaxed pleasure and fun as we celebrated Marie Massafra's 98th birthday. Her sons Gene and Bobby Massafra, along with other family members, joined in this once-in-a-lifetime event. Biagetti's was packed with other birthday celebrants, but many folks took time to salute Marie for her longevity and cheerful spirit. The servings were awesome and plenty. Everyone left with a doggie bag.

Another birthday, which gets sweeter with the years, because of the pouring out and rich flow of well-wishers, mixing and blending love and affection, transporting me to transcendental peace and joy, to the azure sky. Ok, let's get back to earth. My heartfelt gratitude to my FB family for the many years of love and support that have sustained me in times of need. Another birthday, and I am still grooving out on life, spreading my joy and warm smile.
