"I recently had the opportunity to work with Elizabeth Carota of Tryon Foothills Realty. I inherited a house in Tryon NC and needed to get it ready to sell. After getting the house cleaned out there were some preparations and improvements to take care of before we could put the house on the market. I have never bought or sold a house so this whole process was quite new to me AND I was some 500 plus miles away, with no familial contacts in the area, while trying to take care of all of this. Elizabeth assured me “We’ve got this!”. Elizabeth not only gave us a list of possible professionals that we could hire for the jobs, she also helped us to set up meetings to discuss what needed to be done and then set up dates of service as we hired the different people. She would make sure workers could get into the house when they were scheduled to be there and then go and secure the house at the end of the day. The workers we selected from her list were reliable and did great work. They communicated with me, as did Elizabeth, and kept me up-to-date with what they were doing and how the job was progressing as some of the jobs were multiple-day projects. Once the house was all fixed up, Elizabeth took the time to “stage” the house so prospective buyers could “feel” and “see” the possibilities for the house.

During this time we dealt with freezing temps and the possibility of no heat…all of these were dealt with by Elizabeth for me. Her willingness to help me with a multitude of issues made this selling process a much less stressful event. I truly feel I could not have done all of this without her assistance and participation.

Elizabeth’s personal initiative was a huge plus for the quick sale of this house. She is a caring, dedicated, personable and patient professional.
