Important Information -In addition to the Policy approved by the Budget & Finance Committee (Resolution -04-20), some administrative procedures and clarifications have been incorporated to ensure fairness, transparency, and efficiency in the bidding process. They are as follows:
All Navajo Tribal members with census numbers, 18 years old and over, are eligible to bid. There will be two bids allowed per individual. Bids will be accepted only during the dates and times specified above.
The collected bids will be open at the end of each day to tabulate the number of bids collected per vehicle. A vehicle with five bids at the maximum amount will be considered sold and removed from the list. The bid result will be posted on the PMD website and office locations on Thursday, August 28, 2025. The successful bidder will be informed within the next 24 hours.
The bids are sorted from highest to lowest for each vehicle, then by the method of payment, from full to partial (down payment) amount. Example: the successful bidder would be the highest bidder with the greater of the full or down payment at closing.
• The vehicles are sold in "AS IS" condition with all sales final; there are no guarantees or warranties. The Condition Report is posted on the vehicle window, written when the vehicle was declared surplus. We advise the bidder to inspect the vehicle of interest before submitting a bid since the bid form is considered a contract.
In the event a bidder is the successful bidder for two vehicles, only one vehicle will be granted, and the other will go to the next potential bidder.
