A little “just because” post. Valentine’s Day is over, and our anniversary isn’t until May, but I still want to share a little appreciation for this guy of mine. He’s not the warm and fuzzy type, and he’s not big on hugs or compliments. But this morning, as he was heading out to work, he took a moment to clean out the fireplace and start a fire for me because I’m working from home today and it was “chilly” (my version of chilly is an overcast day with some wind). Acts of service are his love language, and this little gesture meant more than words can say. I love you too .elmer.90
