Today was move-in day for a family in need of a rental home.
With the help of Our Family Services paying for their deposit and first month's rent they were able to get a new start!

New Concept took up donations to provide them with a few necessities to get started in their new home.
This was the most deserving family I've ever met! They were so grateful and thankful for everything that we did for them I have never seen true gratitude.
It brought me to tears.

Even though they had nothing but their clothes to move into the home, they bought me flowers for all of the assistance I provided for them.
I truly love my job, and I love being able to help others.

Educational tip.
Most people do not realize that real estate agents do not get paid until you close on your house. ( With your agent)
There is no hourly pay or yearly salary.
All the time spent showing houses, researching properties, writing contracts, etc. Everything we do, we do not get paid until you actually close on a house.
You can work a year or even longer with the same client. Then they turn around and go buy a house from someone else.... We hope this is because they do not understand process.
When your agent asks you to sign a buyer broker agreement, this is to protect them and it's required.
Would you go to work everyday and not get paid?
