2025 year in review! For decades we have sent out a desk calendar to you all, but like all good things everything must come to an end. This year the USPS designated those calendars as “parcels” and the postage expense more than quadrupled, and no longer economically practical. So, the time has come to retire the calendars. I was always amazed how many people requested them and looked forward to them as a yearly staple on their desk. It just goes to show that with all the advances in technology, AI, internet apps, and websites people often prefer the simpler ways. Talking to a person and not a robot, having someone explain a complex issue without having to sign up for a 7-day free trial, and the list goes on.

We are wrapping up our 50th year in business and we still rely on the “simpler ways” when dealing with our clients, the technology is in the backend, where it belongs in my opinion. Do we use it in every transaction? Of course! But at HMR we believe the personal touch is what separates us and has given us the longevity as one the longest running locally owned real estate companies in Tucson. Needless to say, you are all a part of that history, and we wanted to once again say “Thank you” for new business, repeat business, and referrals of your Friends & Family. by on east side. The seller contacted us on Friday about listing their home quickly as they had gone under contract to purchase a home in a different state. They were planning to use a bridge loan on their purchase unless we could get their home under contract quickly. We had the home listed by the next weekend and in escrow a few days later! We were able to get their home closed early enough to allow the seller to forgo the bridge loan and use funds directly from the sale.
