The Tack Room Boot in 1983 having to be moved 40 feet East and North to accommodate for the widening of Sabino Canyon Road. The restaurant closed in 2003 but the boot is still there. You May have seen "Vactor Ranch," while driving around.

The Tack Room was originally a private home, which was sold to a group of investors - including the Vactor family. In 1946 it was developed into a guest ranch called Rancho Del Rio, and became a restaurant in 1965.
