Even if everything looked great when you first went under contract, things can change — especially if the property has been vacant for months (or even a year). Fixtures like plumbing, appliances, HVAC systems, and even electrical components can develop issues when they haven’t been used in a while. 🚿💡💧

✅ During your final walkthrough, you’ll want to:

Confirm that all agreed-upon repairs have been completed properly

Ensure the home is in the same or better condition than when you made your offer

Check for new damage or issues that may have occurred during the vacancy or move-out process

Test plumbing, lights, outlets, appliances, doors, and windows

Verify that all inclusions (like appliances or fixtures) are still in place
