My daughter said yes to the dress at Free Ever After Bridal.
Don’t ask me about the dress because my future son in law is one of my Facebook friends and I don’t want to spill the beans. Trust me though, it’s beautiful and she’s going to be stunning on her wedding day!
I have to talk a little about Free Ever After Bridal Boutique as I didn’t know an upscale bridal shop like this existed.
They have an amazing mission.
100% of the proceeds fund Masterpiece Mentorship, a local non-profit providing survivor-led mentoring and rehabilitation programs for women recovering from sexual exploitation and abuse.
The boutique operates on a “sustainable luxury” model, selling donated, gently used wedding gowns, sample dresses, and formalwear.

Long video, but I had to share this beauty.
She somehow got into our courtyard and couldn’t get out. I have no idea how she got in. Could have been dropped by a large bird, but I didn’t see any damage to her. The white marks on her shell was her trying to hide under the lip of the wall. She was not domesticated and I offered her food and water but she had no interest. Just in case, I reached out to my awesome neighbor but I’m the only one with a pet tortoise in the neighborhood and we’re pretty far out and secluded.
And no, I couldn’t keep her with Harley (and she isn’t used to people either), they are two different species and he’s at a very hormonal stage in his life and would probably sexually harass her to no end.
I do hope she comes back to visit, but I willl probably never see her again.
