Hello and welcome, everyone, this is randy a.k.a. “The Frustrated Investor”, this is the blog post that helps you the novice, beginner Real Estate Entrepreneurs, learn the secrets of how to break into the world of Real Estate Investing…
These posts are made possible by "The Frustrated Investor Connection (The F.I.C)" Where We Educate, Motivate, and Point you to SUCCESS...
This is dedicated to all of my mentors from the past, present, and future, whom I had the honor and privilege to study under.
Where I got the opportunity, to get real hands-on experience, within the different areas of Real Estate Investing... as well as absorbing a lot of their keen insight on how to find and profit using the vehicle of real estate the correct way.
I created these posts out of my own many years of frustration, of trying to learn Real Estate Investing on my own just from books and other courses, and I soon quickly learned from the “School of Hard-Knocks”…
Bottom-line I’ve done all the work, so you don’t have to…
So who are these blog posts really for, the Frustrated Real Estate Investors;
Burned Out Landlords and Novice Real Estate Investors, who are just getting started or simply may just need a point in the right direction (which we all needs from time to time)...
May these posts give you the tips, tricks, strategies, guidance, and plenty of inspiration along the way...
This month we will start at the very beginning. With the posts, of what I call learning the fundamentals of Real Estate Investing 101.
Which will focus in on the topic of understanding the core basics of Real Estate Investing. OK, if you’re ready then let’s get started .. This month’s post is called: "Thinking Like an Entrepreneur"
Which Requires Safety Measures of the Mind to Turn Ideas Into Money...
You have got to shut out the noise to stay focused on your dream. To dream big and think big consistently you really have to be aware of the negative voices surrounding you and be prepared to shut them out.
So let's say you have determined what it is you want, what you truly want.
You've decided to make an effort to achieve it. You start visualizing and taking the first steps towards making it happen. You are amazed at how you feel about it and your energy feels renewed. Making a decision can do that.
There are proven psychological chemical releases in the brain that cause this feeling of euphoria when you make a positive decision.
You are really going to do it this time, you say to yourself! You manage to continue saying this all day. The excitement builds as you wonder to yourself "what took me so long to see the end result as clearly as I do today!? " Wow! The feeling can be exhilarating!
Then BAM! you mention your decision to a friend the next day and their lack of enthusiasm is as thick as the fog in London. You feel the disapproval in their tone and without realizing what is happening; you let their disinterest and condescension suck you back into their world of mediocrity.
The previous day's serotonin surge dissipates and levels back off to its original chemical equivalent of depression. Like a prick of a pin piercing the taut side of a latex balloon.
It's over. You let foolishness deflate your momentum. Your ambition shut down by the words of a non-believer.
The problem here isn't that you mentioned the idea before you had a well-defined plan or even that your friend is obviously a smaller thinker than you.
The problem is within yourself. If you are letting this happen; you are not ready for the road to being a successful entrepreneur or solo-preneur. You will never get there!
The BIGGER you think the more you have to be prepared. There are always going to be people that don't understand "thinking big." There are always going to be peddlers of satire.
Be aware of it, expect their appearance and be prepared to put up the wall of defense. That usually comes with a smile. Don't bother to defend or compete with their ways. Don't waste your energy!
Some of the best things TO DO though are:
- Surround yourself with others that think like you and that offer advice to help you get where you want...always be in search of being confident that they are there.
It's amazing what tools are handed to you in the form of people and connections when your wall is built and your path is consistent
- Good advice comes in many forms so collect all varieties of the Internet, acquaintances, wisdom from our past leaders, friends...
- Keep reading books and stories that inspire you and propel you forward when you can't go it can collect an enormous amount of ideas & inspiration from book series like Chicken Soup for the Entrepreneur's Soul or other success stories.
Until Next Time...
