Property fraud and deed fraud are a growing concern here in Southern Arizona, and unfortunately, some properties can be especially vulnerable—including vacant land, second homes, inherited property, and homes owned by people who live out of state.

Pima County offers a FREE fraud notification service that can alert you when documents are recorded in your name.

The flyer below explains how to sign up, and there’s a QR code you can scan to get started.

If you love mountain views, Sonoran Desert surroundings and communities that feel removed from the middle of the city without being completely disconnected from everything, Tortolita deserves a look.

The area includes everything from established neighborhoods to newer communities and higher-end desert properties — and location can make a BIG difference in views, lot size and value.

📊 August Market Update | Red Rock, AZ

Red Rock had one number that really stood out in August: pending sales doubled compared with last year. 👀

🏡 10 homes sold
💰 $272,000 median sale price
⏱️ 42 median days on market — 53 days faster than last year
📋 17 new listings
🤝 16 new pendings — UP 100% year over year

That jump in pending activity is worth watching. Nearly as many homes went under contract in August as came on the market.

At the same time, the median sale price was down 2.9% from last year, showing that buyers are active, but price still matters.

Red Rock is a smaller market, so percentages can move dramatically from month to month. That's why I look beyond a single number to see what the market is actually doing.

📊 August Market Update | Catalina Foothills

The Catalina Foothills had a strong August, with gains in both sales and pricing. 🌵🏡

🏡 47 homes sold — up 11.9% from last year
💰 $900,000 median sale price — up 20.8%
⏱️ 20 median days on market — 13 days faster
📈 $49.4M in sales volume — up 54.3%
📐 $335 average price per sq. ft. — up 11.3%

The number that really jumps out? That $900K median sale price.

More homes sold than this time last year, they sold faster, and both median price and price per square foot increased.

But that doesn't mean every Foothills home is flying off the market. There are currently 193 active single-family listings, and 82 have already had a price reduction. Even in a strong market, buyers are paying attention to value.

That's why looking at the numbers for your specific neighborhood, lot, views, condition and competition matters far more than relying on a broad Tucson average.
