COVID-19 precautions:
In September 2020 I volunteered to be part of the Moderna vaccine trial in Tucson. As a part of the trial, I received two injections (at the time I didn’t know whether this was placebo or vaccine) and am monitored with regular questions, labs and COVID tests. After the vaccine was made available for emergency use, I was able to find out that I did get the vaccine through the trial. I’m happy to report that other than a sore arm and minor chills and fatigue in the first 24 hours of the vaccine, I had no other side effects. It’s been 3 months since my last dose and I continue to feel great.

I’m so grateful to have been vaccinated through the trial. Being vaccinated is just one way that I know I am helping to protect my family, friends and clients during this pandemic. As a realtor, client safety is my priority so I also wear a mask during any face to face interactions, wash and sanitize my hands and any common surfaces, and offer accommodations to minimize risk of exposure (such as showings via zoom or private showings).

On January 29th, Alina and I welcomed our first daughter to this world. I’m so happy to be a Dad to this little girl and more motivated than ever to work hard for her.

As you can see, this home needed a lot of work and clean up. This 2 bed/1 bath was turned into a 3 bed/2bath by adding 450 sq feet in the form of a master suite. In addition to a complete remodel of the kitchen and bathrooms, the basement and foundation were redone, a 2 car cement driveway was poured and the original hardwood floors were refinished.

I was involved in this project from start to finish: finding the property, design and ex*****on of the remodel and selling for a profit after it was finished.

Meet the realtor:
Jake Arnold, the real estate agent behind Arnold Real Estate Network, has been working with homes in Tucson since 2008 when he bought his first house as an investment property and remodeled it himself. He spent the next few years adding to his portfolio by remodeling houses while living in them and running track professionally. Jake used many of the skills learned during his years as a decathlete to help him succeed in the real estate market: time management, hard work and perseverance. He obtained his real estate license in 2010 to further his knowledge of the housing market and became a full time realtor in 2015 after retiring from Track and Field. Since then Jake has been involved in over 200 transactions ranging from multiunit apartment complexes to single family homes.

Jake is originally from Santa Rosa, California but moved to Tucson in 2002 to attend the University of Arizona. While earning his undergraduate degree in Retail & Consumer Science he became a 2 time national collegiate champion decathlete (2006, 2007) after starting as just a walk on for the U of A track team. He continued track professionally for 6 years after college, with notable accomplishments such as competing twice in the US World championships (2007, 2008), placing alternate to the US Olympic team (2008) and winning the title of US national champion decathlete (2010).

Jake remains a devoted wildcat and was proudly inducted into the U of A hall of fame in 2012. He considers Tucson his home and even moved back into the very first house that he bought after remodeling it for a second time. He and wife, Alina Boelman, are expecting their first baby in February.
