Neighborhood Update!
Updated January 24, 2016

We are having a water valve in our community repaired on Tuesday, January 26 and Wednesday, January 27. You can expect your water to be turned off on Tuesday starting at 10:00AM for several hours. There is the possibility that it will be turned off on Wednesday morning as well until it is repaired. This repair effects all houses on KoVaya and Samalayuca up to KoVaya. If you have any questions you can call Diane or Kyle at 797.3260

From our Neighboring HOA--LCMNA received the following on 11/13/15
Hi there Just a note to let everyone know there is a man going door to door in our neighborhood (Wanda/Emerine) selling cleaning products... He is very talkative and tries to joke a lot ... We said no and he was very persistent.... Also went to a neighbor up the street and told her we had recommended him (we gave him a false name). Tall black man who says he wants to help the people of Ferguson... Just FYI

The community pool will be closed for repairs until further notice. Hopefully we can all stay cool in some other way until the pool is once again operational and open

Last night many neighbors' mailboxes were broken into and items ranging from junk mail to tax documents were stolen. Law enforcement was notified and a report was filed. If you had anything stolen you may want to consider filing your own report and if needed, use one of the free credit check companies to protect your identity.

The water to our neighborhood will be temporarily turned off due to a break in the line at one of our neighbor-member's home. This should be a quick repair and water service will be restored as quickly as possible.

On Sept 15 our Neighboring HOA, LCMNA, received the following from a resident:

Our home at 811 W Camino Desierto was broken into on Monday Sept 8 - the really rainy day last week. No significant damage to the home was done, but we did lose quite a bit of stuff. Mostly electronics. There was definitely a truck involved; we noticed some pretty heavy peel out tasks in our gravel. We will be bumping up security on our property.

Driving home on September 10'th, a nearby neighbor spotted a dark black/green -sheen double cab pickup with a white camper stopping in front of various homes, mainly those without vehicles. The driver wore a ball cap, had some facial hair, but was hard to identify through the dark windows. The camper was white, almost a regular size, but the top/roof was lower than normal. It also had some white pvc pipes attached to the camper, perhaps as part of the camper. There was a "for sale" sign that was crooked, in the back door of the camper. Its license was AZ 114 VPP.

Last week the Kofran's home at 7975 N Vamori was burglarized while they were out of town. Entry to the home was gained first from the garage and then by breaking a door. Electronics were stolen. Please call 911 to report any suspicious activity you witness. Let's prevent future burglaries in our neighborhood.
