💗 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and this month is personal for me.

Four years ago, I lost my mother to breast cancer.

So when I see the pink ribbons each October, I don't just see a campaign. I think about my mother, the life she lived, the people who loved her, and the families who know what this journey feels like.

This month, I honor my mother, celebrate the survivors, stand with those currently fighting, and remember those whose lives were taken too soon.

Please take care of yourself, encourage the women you love to take care of themselves, and don't put off the conversations and screenings that matter.

🏥 Mom or Dad is in the hospital and suddenly the family realizes there’s paperwork that needs to be notarized. Now what?

First, don’t panic.

A mobile notary may be able to come directly to the hospital, nursing facility, or rehabilitation center.

Before scheduling, make sure your loved one has acceptable identification and is able to communicate and willingly sign the document.

A notary cannot choose your document for you or tell you which legal form you need.

My job is to help make sure the person signing is properly identified, willing to sign, and that the required notarization is completed correctly.

So before your appointment, make sure you know which document you need and bring it with you.
