This Wednesday, the Greater Tulsa Board of Realtist is kicking off 1,000 Doors to Wealth, a free community-based series designed to help individuals and families build wealth through homeownership and real estate.

What does a REALTIST® do on a Saturday? Apparently, all the things.

My shirt says it best: a REALTIST® is a member of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers, committed to promoting Democracy in Housing and advocating for fair and equitable access to real estate opportunities.

And today, that looked like being out in the community.

I spent the morning bouncing between two back-to-school events Greater Tulsa Board of Realtist was supporting, checking in with our teams, connecting with community partners, talking to families, and just enjoying being with the people.

Then “lunch” turned into laptops, calendars, and planning as we worked on upcoming community events, housing initiatives, and member opportunities for the next week- next quarter.

Add in a little real estating in between, checking on clients, wrapping up details at a property, and making sure we’re ready for next week’s closing. 🏡🔑

Real estate is what I do, but service is a big part of how I do it.

Being present.
Being a resource.
Building relationships.
And above all, serving well.

REAL. RESOURCE. RELIABLE.
That’s not just branding. That’s the work.

And now…enough working.
Ending this Saturday with some family time❤️

I’ve noticed some new faces around here, so I figured it was a good time to introduce myself.

Hey y’all! I’m Reynelda, but you can call me Rey! 👋🏾

Professionally, I’m a Realtor, Realtist, investor, and I have a Master’s in Business Administration. Long before I got into real estate, I built my career around housing. I’ve worked in public housing, administered housing programs, and today I serve veterans through the Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program. Whether it’s helping someone find housing, navigate resources, or buy a home, I’ve always believed stable housing changes lives.

Outside of work, I love experiences. Give me a trip to plan, a great meal, a sporting event, a play or musical, a good glass of wine, or time with my people, and I’m happy. When I’m not out making memories, I’m probably reading, journaling, or writing something.

Because I hate wasting time, I often say, “Let me know when we get to the doing part.”

This is definitely that.

Today I served as a classroom volunteer at the 78th Annual NAREB National Convention, welcoming attendees, assisting presenters, and helping keep everything on schedule.

Service has a way of opening doors to conversations, relationships, and opportunities you never expected.

Serve well. The rest has a way of following.

This week I’m looking forward to be fully present.

To learn with an open mind.
To connect with intention.
To enjoy the experience.
To trust that every conversation, every class, and every connection has purpose.

The opportunities we’re praying for don’t always arrive with flashing lights. Sometimes they show up as an introduction, a lesson, or a simple conversation.
