Over the past few months, I have had the honor to plan the NAREB Region XI Inaugural Regional Conference here in Tulsa. There are no words to describe the feeling you have when your vision executed— except, THANK YOU Father God for your favor!
This weekend’s event will be memorable, not only because it was our first regional conference, but also because of the common goal we Realtist live by “Democracy in Housing!” We collaborated with and learned from each other. We partnered, networked and socialized as a family. The attention we brought to our cause not only put NAREB and its’ Tulsa chapter, Greater Tulsa Board of Realtist (GTBR), on the map but also educated our community. We are here and We are here to do the work!!
I want to thank all our amazing speakers for taking the time to love on us- From the AI Queen, Marki Lemons-Ryhal, herself to Marcus Hill the Appraiser and Michael Simpson the Commercial King to NAR’s very own Nate Johnson, Vice President of Advocacy. I would be remised if I did not personally express my deepest gratitude to our NAREB National Officers Pastor L.J. Jennings, Sales Division President and Ashley Thomas III, 1st Vice President. Thank you both for your attendance, as your presence made a huge impact on us all!
For all of those who aided in planning this conference, thank you for jumping in when you saw a need and ensuring we had the best conference ever. To RVP Andreal Hoosman, Thank You for entrusting your vision for our Region in my hands. I hope I exceeded your expectations as your excellence is ours! To my GTBR President Roz Williams, you saw in me what I didn’t see in myself and granted me the platform and space to discover it. For that, I THANK YOU!
