The app allows users to browse photo galleries and floor plans, filter homes that meet your desired criteria, get directions and more.

The HBA invites professionals from all over!
The judges are usually professionals from out of state with expertise in design, construction, architecture, or real estate. Think Realtors, Home Builders, Interior Designers, Architects, Landscapers, and Engineers.

While the Home Builders Association of Greater Tulsa doesn’t publicly post the exact scoring sheet for the Tulsa Parade, award-winning homes are generally evaluated on many of the same criteria used in professional Parade of Homes competitions around the country.

Judges score each home on its own merits rather than directly comparing one builder against another.

Builders are commonly graded on:
Exterior
* Architectural appeal
* Landscaping and outdoor spaces
* Quality of masonry, siding, trim, and roofing
* Overall first impression
Interior
* Flow and livability of the floor plan
* Ceiling details, millwork, cabinetry, and trim
* Quality of materials and finishes
* Lighting design
* Storage solutions and closet space
* Kitchen functionality and craftsmanship

This is often the biggest differentiator between homes that place and those that don’t.

If you’ve never been to the Tulsa Parade of Homes, imagine a cross between:
* An open-house tour
* An interior design show
* A neighborhood exploration trip

all happening at once.

What actually happens?
You receive a map (or use the event app) and spend up to 10 days driving between participating homes. At each house, you can walk through the finished property, examine the architecture, see floor plans, inspect materials and finishes, and talk with builders or representatives.

Unlike a normal open house where a single home is for sale, the focus is often on showcasing craftsmanship, design ideas, and construction techniques.

Why is it unique?
You see homes you would normally never get inside
